Not only is this layout perfect for boardroom meetings, it is an ideal configuration for any type of formal or informal meeting. Delegates are seated, facing each other around one central table. This configuration can be easily adapted for training events by simply removing any chairs that are facing away from the presentation screen.
This layout is perfect for any meeting or event which involves imparting information or raising awareness. Delegates are seated in rows, much as they would be within a theatre, without tables.
Generally, a cabaret layout is used in order to create a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Small tables are distributed around the room in a non-regimented pattern. Delegates sit around the table facing each other. This room layout is perfect for an evening event or an event that has a social element. We do not advise this layout for training events as delegates will be seated with their back to the presentation screen.
The classroom layout is ideal for training events and skills based workshops. Delegates are seated in small groups around a number of tables. They are seated so that they can easily see the presentation screen and can work comfortably as part of a small group. The layout enables the tutor or presenter to work with each small group.
The u-shape, or horse-shoe configuration is ideal for training events or demonstrations. Tables are set in a u shape and delegates are seated on the outside of the U facing the presentation screen. This room layout places the tutor or presenter in the middle of the room.
