Course leader, Elaine Pritchard
Elaine Pritchard worked in journalism from the age of 19, working her way up from trainee reporter on a Leicestershire weekly newspaper to news editor of a major, regional title that sold 149,000 copies a night at its peak! She also worked on national titles including the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Sunday Times and the Daily Star. She moved on to internet publishing as Operations Director with of the Daily Mail group, developing award-winning, content-rich digital start-ups and being an early adopter of social media. Her career highlight was winning a BAFTA for an interactive, educational website that she was commissioned to deliver by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. In 2010 she set-up Caittom Publishing and works as a writer, editor and consultant for businesses and organisations across the UK. She has seen LinkedIn grow her business and those of her clients and is passionate about sharing how they have done it – and how you can do it too.
