The Uttoxeter Learning Network is designed to provide networking opportunities and training courses for local businesses. The training aims to provide valuable information and skills which will help small and micro businesses to grow and develop.
The venue for all of the network meetings is Heath House Training and Conference Centre in Uttoxeter. (ST14 7BY)
Each network meeting includes a training course which provides valuable knowledge and skills.
The mini training courses will follow one of the formats below:
A detailed description is available for each course. The description will include information about who the course is designed for and will provide an overview of each of the sessions. This information will enable you to attend courses that are beneficial to you and your business. These descriptions will be added to this page as each session is announced.
All of the tutors provide follow on courses or services. Links to the follow-on courses and services are included at the end of each course description.
The morning will begin with informal networking accompanied by plenty of coffee and buscuits.
We want to create a very informal, welcoming networking environment which will be equally attractive to those who are new to networking as well as those who are seasoned professionals on the networking circuit.

The network meetings take place once a month at Heath House Conference Centre in Uttoxeter.

The cost to attend the network meeting and the training course is £12 per network meeting.
Places are limited and so booking is essential. To book your place, e-mail admin@uttoxeterbn.co.uk. Delegate lists are provided for each session so please let us know your name, company name, e-mail address, website and phone number. Only provide information that you are happy to share on the delegate list.

Session 1 and 2 give participants a step by step guide to enable them to use Canva to create two amazing graphics for social media. The course then provides a step by step guide to help participants to add these graphics to their Facebook Page.
Learn how to create graphics quickly and easily with Canva and then put them to use immediately on your Facebook page to build brand awareness.
What you will achieve by the end of the course
Holly worked as a Microsoft Specialist Instructor in London and Cambridge, providing training for large corporations such as the British Geological Survey and NHS Addenbrookes Hospital. As an independent IT Training Consultant, Holly then went on to design and deliver a UK-wide training program for the RSPB. She now uses her extensive expertise to help small businesses build and maintain their online presence with websites and social media training and digital mentoring. She is passionate about training and website design with the aim of empowering individuals to take control of their digital assets.
