The new wireless access points are smarter. They are continually monitoring the environment for external interferences and will adapt to ensure that all customers using the free wi-fi at Heath House Conference Centre, receive the best signal.
Over the past year we have seen a dramatic increase in footfall relating to meeting room hire. With each person carrying multiple wi-fi enabled devices like laptops, tablets and phones this creates an ever-growing demand upon the wi-fi. A growing number of these clients rely on applications like skype which are band width hungry.
We are continually looking to improve and develop the facilities at Heath House so that our customers have the very best experience possible when they hire one of our meeting rooms. With this in mind, we approached our IT provider Infinity IT solutions to discuss the options. The team at infinity have seamlessly managed the upgrade from identifying the best solution through to installation – they were even adept with the hoover!
Infinity technical manager Steve Slack said “The Meraki Access points enable the team at Heath House Conference centre to see the “Wireless Health” of the system. Performance stats will be provided to enable Heath House Conference Centre to see the experience its stakeholders are having when using the wireless. This is demonstrated on a per access point basis.”
This upgrade represents a significant investment and is designed to ensure that our clients receive the very best possible experience when they visit us for a meeting or training event. We are delighted with the results.
